Dundee Footballers Raise Money for Archie Foundation
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the news that a group of Dundee footballers raised £1,500 for charity by visiting all 200 Oor Wullie statues; understands that the footballers, who dubbed themselves the Fantastic Five, manged to visit all the statues in just 60 hours travelling approximately 1,000 miles in total; further understands that the money raised is to be donated to the Archie Foundation, and thanks the five footballers involved for their fundraising efforts.
