Sainsbury’s Staff Firewalk for Colleague
The motion
That the Parliament commends staff from Sainsbury’s in Leven who took part in the Phoenix Firewalk to raise funds in memory of a much loved colleague, Laurna Cunningham, who sadly died from cancer; understands that over 40 colleagues, family and friends took part in the firewalk, stepping over hot coals at Balbirnie House; notes that a race night was also held at The Thistle, where one colleague got their head shaved to raise more funds; commends the £5,080 raised for the Victoria Hospice, where Laurna spent time, and congratulates everyone involved on the wonderful fundraising success.
