Dundee Karate Club Raises Money Completing the Three Peaks Challenge

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates instructors and students from Saltire Karate in Dundee on completing the three peaks challenge in under 24 hours; understands that the group climbed a combined 23 miles up Snowdon, Scarfell Pike and Ben Nevis in 23 hours and 48 minutes; acknowledges that the group have just returned from representing Scotland at the Karate World Championships in Bratislava where they won eight gold, five silver and seven bronze medals; understands that they hope to raise £1,000 through their efforts, which will go towards the costs of competing at the European Championships in Denmark in October 2019, and wishes them luck with their fundraising and at the competition in October.
