West Lothian College Student Association Awarded Four Stars by Healthy Body, Healthy Mind Awards
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates West Lothian College Student Association on being awarded four stars by the Healthy Body, Healthy Mind Awards; recognises that to be awarded this the Student Association introduced improved sport and recreational games, better signposting to student services and external organisations that provide support, working towards smoke-free campuses and educating staff and students about positive mental wellbeing through sports teams and fitness facilities; understands that options offered to students include free gym membership to the college gym and fitness classes, information on mindfulness and guidance on how to access services; notes that this will ensure students are well supported while studying, and wishes all students and staff well for the new session.
