Chernobyl Youngsters Visit Glenrothes Specsavers
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the news that the team at Specsavers in Glenrothes welcomed a group of seven youngsters from Belarus who were affected by the Chernobyl disaster; understands that the children and their two interpreters were given free eye examinations during the visit and were given glasses if required; notes that the children live in an area of Belarus still affected by the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, and were in Scotland on a recuperative holiday, and wishes both the children and the team at Specsavers all the best in the future.
