Jade Celebrates Two Years in Remission
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Jade Dowie from Glenrothes, who recently celebrated her 19th birthday and being two years leukaemia free by raising money for the cancer charity, LoveOliver; understands that Jade and her best friend, Jasmine Doyle, completed a tandem bungee jump and raised £621 for the charity; notes that the jump was self-funded by the girls so all £621 raised will be donated to LoveOliver; acknowledges that this idea came from Jade wanting to give something back to a charity very close to her heart that provided a huge amount of support to her and her family throughout her treatment, and wishes both girls all the best in the future.
