LoveRose Lingerie
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Caroline Kennedy Alexander on launching a lingerie line for breast cancer survivors; understands that Caroline is an Edinburgh-based designer and artist hoping to raise £15,000 through crowdfunding to help launch LoveRose lingerie; recognises with sadness that the lingerie line is in commemoration of her sister, Rose, who died in 2004 as a result of breast cancer; notes that Caroline, who was also diagnosed with the disease in 2012 and underwent a double mastectomy with reconstruction, is aiming to create a line comfortable and suitable, as well as feminine, for breast cancer survivors; recognises the impact that breast cancer has on all aspects of both physical and mental wellbeing; applauds Caroline's dedication to improving the self-esteem of women across the country, and wishes the company the best of luck in launching the line.
