Jennifer Boag, Greenock Charity Champion
The motion
That the Parliament commends Jennifer Boag on being presented with Greenock Rotary Club’s endeavour award shield in recognition of her role in a record-breaking charity appeal; understands that Jennifer went above and beyond for the Smalls for All campaign, collecting a record 5,463 pairs of underwear for the charity, which collects and distributes them to help women and children in Africa and the UK; notes that, as well as collecting the garments, Jennifer stored them in her spare room; believes that her actions highlight how everyone can make a difference to the lives of people around them and across the world, and thanks Jennifer for her tremendous efforts.
