Project Search
The motion
That the Parliament acknowledges the successful partnership between West Lothian College and West Lothian Council in delivering Project Search, a course aimed at young people aged 16 to 24 who have a learning disability and/or autism who are leaving school or looking for work; understands that the West Lothian Project Search student group for 2017-18 was the only one in the UK to achieve 100% of students moving into work, and congratulates the college, the council’s Disability Employment team, and employers such as B&M, Dobbies and Sainsbury's for enabling students to achieve such a positive outcome.
