St Ambrose and Mental Health
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates St Ambrose High on participating in the Scottish mental health arts festival held in Lanarkshire; recognises that pupils showcased work conducted in the school’s “healthy minds” course; understands that the aim of the festival was to use art and events to challenge the stigma associated with mental health and promote the positive affect that being connected to a community and participating in arts can have on mental wellbeing; notes that the pupils worked incredibly hard on this topic and represented the school at the North Lanarkshire Council pupil council session, and acknowledges the commitment of the students to the project and its representation.
