Supporting Our Community
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Supporting Our Community in Hamilton on becoming a registered charity; notes that the charity aims to create a social hub for the local community, provide a range of accessible activities for children and families, and create a wellbeing centre; acknowledges that Supporting Our Community is run by a group of local people who aim to offer programmes and activities that encourage people to become involved in their community, such as arts and crafts, gardening, music and coffee mornings, and notes that the charity also focuses on mental health awareness, suicide and wellbeing.
