Co-founder and CEO of Local Rum Distillery is Finalist at Women’s Enterprise Scotland Awards 2019
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Jacine Rutasikwa, co-founder and CEO of the Livingston based rum company, Matugga Distillers, on being selected as one of the three finalists in the Start-up of the Year category at the Women’s Enterprise Scotland Awards 2019; understands that the awards highlight the strength and talent of women-led businesses in Scotland; notes that the judges were impressed with the high standards of entries that show the rise in the number of companies that are led by women, and wishes Jacine the best of luck at the awards ceremony and in all her future endeavours.
