Leslie Primary School Pupil Chops Hair for Childhood Cancer Victims
The motion
That the Parliament commends Rachel Mitchell, who attends Leslie Primary School, for recently cutting 16 inches off of her long hair to donate it to The Little Princess Trust; understands that the Trust will use Rachel’s hair to make wigs for children and young adults with cancer or other illnesses; believes that Rachel’s kindness is going to go a long way in helping other children; acknowledges that Rachel did this because she wanted to “make other people feel good and happy”, and wishes Rachel all the best in the future.
