Congratulations to Almond Valley Artist on Showcase at Help for Heroes Exhibitions
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the veteran woodworker, Penny Lyons, who is from Addiewell, on her selection to have her work showcased at two creative exhibitions to support the many wounded, injured and sick veterans, which is being hosted by the military charity, Help for Heroes; recognises the strength and determination undertaken by Penny in securing her place at the exhibitions while on her own personal road to recovery; notes that all of the Creative Force exhibitors are members of the Help for Heroes peer support networks, Band of Brothers and Band of Sisters, which have over 800 members in Scotland; recognises all the hard work and determination shown by the participants in this achievement, and wishes Penny every success for the future.
