UK Red Bull Qualifiers Arrive at Wishawhill Pump Track
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Wishawhill Wood Track on its success as hosts of the Red Bull World Pump Track Championship qualifiers; notes that the qualifier was the only one to take place in the UK and saw competitors from around the country come to Wishaw to take part; further notes that there was Scottish success in the main event with Mark Ducat securing a place in the finals, which will be held in Oberried, Switzerland, in October 2019; congratulates Dasha Polakova, who was also successful in the women’s field; notes that Dasha, who represented Slovakia, has lived in Scotland for 12 years and has also coached young people at the track; wishes Mark and Dasha well in Switzerland, and further wishes everyone involved with Wishawhill Wood Track well in all their future endeavours.
