Sainsbury’s Lanyard Initiative
The motion
That the Parliament recognises Sainsbury’s new lanyard initiative, which is aimed at supporting customers with hidden health conditions or disabilities; recognises that Sainsbury’s has a store in Irvine; understands that the initiative is to easily identify customers who may like extra support while shopping; further believes that support will include assisting with finding items, opening extra checkout lanes and giving people more time at the checkouts; congratulates Sainsbury’s on its creativity in relation to inclusion, and wishes it all the best for the future.
