East Dunbartonshire Resident Named Runner-up Best Scottish Celebrant
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Phyl Wright, who lives in Bearsden, on being named runner-up in the Best Scottish Celebrant category at the Scottish Funeral Awards in 2019; notes that Phyl has been a Humanist celebrant for the last two years and conducted numerous weddings, baby naming and funeral ceremonies, and is also a published author, and understands that Phyl became a celebrant through her wish to use skills gained from her years working as a counsellor to provide a beautiful and individual experience for clients, and that she offers to write a complimentary personal poem for each occasion.
