Rise of the Far-right in Eastern Germany

That the Parliament notes what it sees as the alarming rise of support for the far-right AfD party in the recent German regional elections; understands that it polled in second place in Saxony and Brandenburg, just 5% and 3% lower than the ruling CDU and SPD parties in each state, and considers this to be a real cause for concern that threatens community cohesion and solidarity among the peoples of these areas.
