Morrison Construction and West Lothian College Develop New Course
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the introduction of a new Pre-apprenticeship Carpentry and Joinery course at West Lothian College; acknowledges that it was designed in partnership with Morrison Construction, which is also sponsoring the course; understands that it will provide a clear and sustainable career pathway for students and provide access to a high-quality talent pool for the company's supply chain, and considers this to be an excellent demonstration of what can be achieved when colleges work in partnership with leading industry players.
