Garnock Valley Carves
The motion
That the Parliament looks forward to the second annual Garnock Valley Carves on 7 September 2019 at Manse Field, Beith; recognises that 11 wood carving artists from Scotland, Spain and the United States will work for seven hours to produce 22 beautiful carvings of varying size and subject, each of which will be auctioned at the conclusion of the event; is aware that many visitors are expected to view the artists at work and that there will also be stalls, play areas and face painting, and congratulates the hard work of Beith Orr Park Neighbourhood Watch over many months, as well as the support of numerous local sponsors, who have helped make Garnock Valley Carves possible.
