Inclusive Skating Success for Buchanan High School Pupil
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Megan Cassidy, a sixth-year pupil at Buchanan High School in Coatbridge, on her success at the Scottish International Inclusive Skating Championships, which were held recently in Edinburgh; notes that inclusive skating helps all skaters with additional challenges to learn to skate and compete in a supportive environment; understands that Megan’s amazing performance secured her the gold medal in her category; considers this to be a very worthy achievement for Megan who was competing in the Junior Ladies Free Skating category; commends Megan for the time and effort that she has dedicated to training to reach gold medal-winning form, and wishes her all the very best for future competitive skating success.
