Mid Calder Hero Award Nominee, Euan Scott
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates nine-year-old Euan Scott, who is from Mid Calder, who has been nominated as September 2019's Local Hero for his selfless actions to help others; acknowledges that the award has been created by The Centre, Livingston to pay tribute to people going "an extra mile" in the community; understands that Euan’s parents nominated him for his incredible efforts in collecting 120 pairs of football boots and a huge amount of football kits for Kitaid, which distributes recycled and donated football kits in Africa, and wishes Euan and his family continued success for future ventures.
