Jade Scott from Fishcross in Prestigious Photography Exhibition
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Jade Scott from Fishcross, who is a BA Art & Design student at Forth Valley College, on, it understands, being the first person studying there to have their work displayed at a prestigious exhibition; notes that Jade's 700-image photo-art, which was displayed at the college’s end of year show, was noticed by Malcolm Dickson, who is the Art Director at Street Level Photoworks; acknowledges that Malcolm invited Jade to display 96 of her documentary-style still pictures, which depict her life every day since the start of the year, at the Futureproof 2019 Exhibition, which runs at Dunoon Burgh Hall until 22 September; notes that she will up against another 18 new artists showing their work and competing to win the £500 Jill Todd memorial photographic award for the best at the show; commends Jade on her excellent work thus far, and wishes her all the very best.
