Awards for All Funding for Rays of Hope
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Rays of Hope, which is in Johnstone, on receiving a £5,000 Awards for All Scotland grant from the National Lottery Community Fund; recognises that Rays of Hope is a self-help and support group established to support people with cancer, as well as their families and carers, by providing a safe, confidential environment where they can talk openly with those who have similar experiences; understands that the group will use this funding to employ a fitness instructor to deliver 20 hours of classes per week to their members, and wishes the organisation well in filling this new position and every success in the future.
