ASDA Dalgety Bay to Take Part in the Fight Hunger, Create Change Campaign
The motion
That the Parliament notes the news that ASDA in Dalgety Bay will be participating in the campaign, Fight Hunger, Create Change, which will see food donated to the Trussell Trust and FareShare; acknowledges that, as part of this, and in conjunction with the partner organisations, the equivalent of over 20,000 meals will be distributed to people who need them over the coming year; welcomes this move to assist people in the community by providing good quality surplus food; believes that this will be of great benefit to the community; appreciates the efforts of staff and volunteers involved in this partnership, and wishes them much success with this.
