The motion

That the Parliament congratulates three community groups on receiving Awards for All Scotland grants to assist with their work with minority ethnic communities across the Maryhill and Springburn constituency; acknowledges that the Igbo Women Association Glasgow received £9,850 to provide various activities to minority ethnic women to combat social isolation, including dance classes, sewing workshops and health and wellbeing talks; acknowledges that ACEMC was awarded £4,500 to deliver sporting activities to its black, Asian, minority-ethnic and refugee (BAMER) members in Possilpark and Springburn, which will be delivered over six months and will work to help reduce social isolation, and that Küche Events Community Interest Company has been presented with £10,000 to create a community graphic novel and run a series of weekly cooking workshops that will explore the idea of Glasgow as a multi-cultural city; believes that the success of these organisations in obtaining this funding is testament to the diverse range of people and groups that make a positive difference and contribution to communities, and wishes them continued success.
