Johnstone Day Centre Receives Awards for All Funding
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Friends of Johnstone Day Centre on securing a £10,000 Awards for All Scotland grant from National Lottery Community Fund; recognises that the centre provides day care to older people to help them remain in their community and be as independent as possible; understands that the group will use this funding to level and pave its enclosed outdoor space to improve its usability for attendees; commends everyone involved in this achievement, and wishes the centre every success both in this project and in the future.
