PARTNER Receives Awards for All Funding
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates PARTNER Addiction Recovery Group, which is in Barrhead, on receiving a £1,800 Awards for All Scotland grant from the National Lottery Community Fund; notes that PARTNER is a mutual aid support group for people with any kind of addiction; understands that the group will use the funding to continue to reach out to people in and around Barrhead who have addictions to help those who are afraid to ask for help; recognises that the group will also organise a publicity campaign and work to strengthen its links with statutory organisations; commends everyone involved on this achievement, and wishes them well as they continue this vital support work.
