Kilwinning Teenager Raises £2,000 for Irvine Eating Disorder Service
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the astounding achievement of 17-year-old Becky Heaney and the Eat it, Beat it, Defeat it support group on raising £2,000 for Irvine’s eating disorder service; understands that the money was raised by taking on the Muddy Trial at Craufurdland Castle; notes that the service helped Becky on the road to recovery from anorexia; further notes that Eat it, Beat it, Defeat it was founded by Becky’s mum, Lisa, to help others struggling with eating disorders; commends this achievement, and wishes everyone involved all the best for the future.
