Funding for VIP Arts and Sports Academy
The motion
That the Parliament acknowledges the award of £5,000 from the Awards for All Scotland Programme to the VIP Arts and Sports Academy in Viewpark, in the Uddingston and Bellshill constituency; understands that the funding secured will be used to deliver a programme of activities within its community facility; notes that the group will be developing and expanding its activities to create a community hub in the centre, and believes that projects, such as VIP, are important in providing children and young people with additional opportunities to become involved in their communities.
