Lottery Funding for St Andrew’s Netball

That the Parliament congratulates St Andrew’s Netball Club in Coatbridge on successfully securing a £1,587 Awards for All Scotland grant from sportscotland; understands that the core aim of the club, which started in 2006, is to increase female participation, and develop lifelong participation, in sport; notes that the club has engaged with schools in the community and that it invests in the development of the skills identified in all who come to the club; further notes that the club makes a range of opportunities available for both participation in competitive sport and as coaching and volunteering opportunities, which fosters engagement beyond participation; understands that the club will use the finding to purchase strips for its three teams, and wishes all at St Andrew’s Netball Club all the very best in future competitions.
