Belhaven Brewery Success at 2019 World Beer Awards
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Belhaven Brewery on winning a National Beer of the Year Award at the 2019 World Beer Awards; understands that Belhaven won the award for its Twisted Grapefruit IPA, which competed in the IPA Speciality category, and that the beer had previously been named Scottish Beer of the Year in the 2018 Scottish Beer Awards; notes that Belhaven was also awarded bronze in the American IPA category for its Twisted Thistle IPA; commends Belhaven and its employees on the awards success, and wishes them all the best for their 300th anniversary and for the future.
