West Dunbartonshire Opens New Baby Bank
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the launch of a baby bank by West Dunbartonshire Community Foodshare; understands that the bank collects donations of prams, cribs, clothes and other new or pre-loved items aimed at meeting the needs of young families in the local area; recognises the creation of the baby bank comes as result of an increase in young mothers who are seeking support; commends the additional community support provided by West Dunbartonshire Community Foodshare since 2013 through food parcels, a Christmas toybank and school uniform bank, and wishes the charity further success in helping West Dunbartonshire’s neediest.
