The Muirhead and District Seniors Forum
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Muirhead and District Seniors Forum, which is in the Coatbridge and Chryston Constituency, on its £1,360 Awards for All Scotland grant from the National Lottery Community Fund; notes the tremendous work of the forum in engaging with over 55s in social activities that complement health and wellbeing and reduce social isolation; understands that the grant will be used to fund an educational day trip and high tea to help people in the community socialise and keep active, and wishes this group, and the many others like it across the country, continued success with its ventures.
