Angus Transnational Cooperation Project Welcomes Tourism
The motion
That the Parliament acknowledges the establishment of the Transnational Cooperation Project, which saw Angus welcome Belgian and Romanian tourism professionals recently; understands that the fact-finding trip was supported by the Angus Leader programme and aims to build the capacity of each area to develop a strong tourist economy through the themes of welcoming visitors, promoting local food and drink and traditional rural skills; notes that the enterprise gives participants the opportunity to share lessons learned within their own region, and looks forward to continued collaboration in the future.
