Grove Community Garden
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Grove Community Garden on its work over the last five years to revitalise three areas across Fountainbridge, transforming them into bustling communal points with facilities such as communal planting areas and a BBQ and pizza oven for social outside eating to help turn Edinburgh into a greener city; commends it on creating spaces that aim to reduce isolation; believes that it can be used and enjoyed by all, including families on a day out, charity groups, office workers and schools; considers that this will have a huge impact on young people who want to learn about growing and cooking fresh and healthy food, and applauds the role that this will have in connecting people across the community.
