Daft Archie to be Displayed at Dunfermline Carnegie Library and Galleries
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the reconstruction of a 19th century skull to shed light on the past; understand that the skull of “Daft Archie” has been used by the Dundee Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design graduate, Rachel McGarvey, to conduct an archaeological facial reconstruction for her MSc in forensic art; notes that Archie’s waxwork head was part of the university’s 2019 Masters Show and will be displayed in the Dunfermline Carnegie Library and Galleries for six weeks; congratulates Rachel on her work, and looks forward to Archie’s installation at home.
