Milngavie Anorexia and Bulimia Care

That the Parliament congratulates Anorexia and Bulimia Care (ABC) on being awarded an £8,850 Awards for All Scotland grant, which it will use toward employing a part-time co-ordinator based in Milngavie to expand its befriending project across the country; understands that this service is offered to anyone with an eating disorder; notes that the befrienders have all had personal experience of such disorders themselves, with many previously receiving support from ABC; acknowledges that, as well as this service, ABC visits schools, colleges and universities and trains and advises carers of people with eating disorders, and commends it on its work.
