Benjamin Netanyahu's Intention to Annex Palestinian Territory
The motion
That the Parliament condemns the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu’s stated intention to annex Palestinian territory in the occupied West Bank; considers that such action would be in contravention of international law; understands that annexation would pose a threat to peace in the region and further undermine the likelihood of a two-state solution; notes UN calls for the illegal settlements to end; offers solidarity to Palestinians in the occupied territories, and calls on the international community to support the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions campaign in its efforts to support justice for Palestine and pressure the Israeli Government to comply with international law.
