Brighter Bothwell Wins Gold Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Brighter Bothwell on winning a Gold medal at the 2019 Beautiful Scotland Awards ceremony in Dumfries on 12 September for the Best Small Town; notes that groups are judged on horticultural achievement, environmental responsibility and community participation; acknowledges that Brighter Bothwell thanks all its volunteers and supporters for their hard work; further notes that the group organises litter picks, plants bulbs and maintains flowers and plants around Bothwell, and wishes Brighter Bothwell well with all its efforts to enhance the natural environment.
