Support for Chernobyl Children
The motion
That the Parliament commends the work of Scotland’s Rural College, which spent time this summer with 22 Belarusian children affected by the Chernobyl nuclear disaster; recognises that they provided the children with fun activities, excursions, food and healthcare; considers that this gives the children a chance to have fun without the worries of radiation and food contamination; thanks the College for its generosity and kindness, and wishes it well for next year’s visit.
