Asda Peterhead
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Anna Ritchie Parent Council on winning the Asda Peterhead Green Token Giving programme customer vote and receiving £500; appreciates that it serves as the community resource hub for the Peterhead and Mintlaw community school networks; further congratulates the joint runners-up, Longside Parish Parent and Toddler Group and the Aberdeenshire Sailing Trust on each winning £200; notes that Parent and Toddler Group plans to buy new toys, books and art and craft materials and that the Sailing Trust wants to further the advancement of public participation in the sport by means of training and development; thanks the Asda Foundation for its continued support of communities, and hopes that many more organisations will continue to benefit from the awards.
