Peedie Models Selection to the Small Biz 100 Initiative

That the Parliament congratulates Peedie Models in Orkney on being selected as one of 2019’s Small Biz 100 as part of the official countdown to Small Business Saturday; acknowledges that Peedie Models is a professional model making business based in Tankerness that designs, manufactures and supplies a range of detailed models, such as model aircraft and railways; notes that it has been selected as part of the Small Biz 100 initiative to celebrate small business success across the UK and to encourage more people to shop local; understands that Peedie Models has been recognised for being a unique small business that offers something different to the local community, and will join a prestigious list of other small businesses to have also been recognised since the campaign began in 2013; congratulates Paul Tyer, who owns Peedie Models, on his hard work and dedication in developing the business, and wishes him and his business continued success in the future.
