Royal Shakespeare Company Ends Partnership with BP

That the Parliament welcomes the reported decision by the Royal Shakespeare Company to end its partnership with BP; congratulates what it sees as the successful campaign by young people and climate campaigners to achieve this; commends such action that is targeted against major fossil fuel corporations such as BP for the role that it believes they have played in bringing about a climate crisis that is causing devastation and loss of life across the world, and calls on all art and cultural organisations to follow the Royal Shakespeare Company in ending their relationship with fossil fuel companies.
