Ogilvy Spirits Wins the Rural Business Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Ogilvy Spirits, which is based at Hatton of Ogilvy Farm in Angus, on winning the Rural Business category at the Scottish Land & Estates’ Helping it Happen Awards 2019; notes that the judges were particularly impressed with the diversified farm, which places a strong emphasis on working with the community that it serves; recognises that the newly-established visitor centre, which was built in a disused farm building, has allowed it to tell its unique story and how it grows, distils and bottles its spirits all on the farm, and wishes the business every success.
