New Community Hub for Livingston
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Kidz n Kin, which is based in The Centre, Livingston, on its opening to provide a friendly and safe social space and soft play centre, offering practical and social help to disadvantaged young families who can be isolated by circumstances; acknowledges the addition of regular events, including Fivez 4 Fridayz, which includes the distribution of free fruit, vegetables and soup, as well as offering practical basic cookery lessons and recipe cards showing how to feed a family on a budget; understands that Kidz n Kin regularly attracts around 50 families per week, and wishes the organisation every success for the future.
