Peter Galloway Retires from St John Ogilvie High School in Hamilton
The motion
That the Parliament wishes Peter Galloway, Depute Head of St John Ogilvie High School in Hamilton, all the best for his retirement after 33 years of service to the school; understands that he began his career in Lanarkshire as a PE teacher and later became Depute Head; recognises Peter as a committed advocate for the health and wellbeing of young people, and appreciates his leadership of the pupil support team over 15 years and his enthusiastic promotion of important initiatives within the school, such as work experience; commends his continued efforts to engage with meaningful projects, such as his mission to Uganda with Missio Scotland and senior pupils from local schools in October 2019; hopes that Peter enjoys his retirement, and sends its best wishes to him and his family.
