The Miscarriage Information Support Service
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the £9,881 that has been awarded to the Miscarriage Information Support Service (MISS) by the National Lottery Awards For All Community Fund, which will help fund a 24/7 mobile phone service and allow MISS to provide seven of its committee members with training in bereavement care, baby loss and awareness, neurolinguistic programming and first aid for mental health; recognises that one-in-four women are likely to experience a miscarriage, and acknowledges MISS’s role in the broader Aberdeen community.
