UK’s Best Infrastructure
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Queensferry Crossing on winning the infrastructure category at the 2019 RICS Social Impact Awards; notes that the 2,633 metre crossing has been praised as a ”worthy winner” after four years of development and six years of construction; considers that this architectural achievement is an example of outstanding collaboration and teamwork, and believes it to be a wonderful addition to the Edinburgh Western constituency alongside the historic Forth Bridge.
