Motion · S5M-19677 · 31 Oct 2019
Decline in Breast Cancer Screening in NHS Lothian
The motion
That the Parliament notes with alarm the reported decline in the number of women being screened for breast cancer in the Lothian region; understands that 71.9% of women aged 50 to 70 were screened during 2006-09 but, between 2015 and 2018, NHS Lothian did not meet the 70% screening target, and believes that more must be done by the Scottish Government to ensure that these targets are met.
